The Bloomberg/Verasight survey of more than 2,000 Americans sought to understand spending patterns in the inflationary environment.
As consumers adjust to inflation, Bloomberg commissioned a survey with Verasight to understand how Americans planned to shift their spending behavior. Verasight utilized it’s multi-mode methodology for the survey that samples respondents using address-based sampling and online recruitment. The methodology was able to offer Bloomberg a representative picture of the US consumer. The survey revealed a willingness of Gen-Z and Millennial consumers to rack-up debt to fuel their discretionary spending. The full article can be found here.
